Secured Loan - Another Way To Raise Funds For Florida Resort Property....

A secured loan could give you the buying power you need to go some way towards a Florida Resort real estate purchase! There are a variety of ways to do this other than the usual mortgage approach.

Basically, these loans work around the borrower ( You) identifying something they own as "collateral" against the loan amount. Something you have of value that the loan company can take possession of if you default!

Sound scary? Well maybe, but this method is regularly in use across the Florida Resorts, as purchasers raise the funds they need for that "must have" Condo!

If something goes wrong, the lender can get their original loan amount back from the sale of whatever it was you put down as collateral. Effectively the thing you own is a kind of guarantee.

This is very different from the unsecured loan that you may apply for online or through, for example a bank or other lender.

This is not a financial advisory site so be sure you understand the nuances of what loans can do for you, but also information on the associated risks.

More Attractive Terms Than Unsecured Loans?

One thing though about this particular family of loans is that you can ( because of the security,) obtain them at more attractive rates than those on offer in the unsecured sector.

Also, the offer of security may enable a loan to be given that wouldn't have been, in unsecured terms.

One example is a Savings secured loan - you have savings with the lender which are used as the collateral. During the period of the loan these are not available to you but continue to gather interest. Once the loan is successfully repaid, you savings are freed up again.
